This print is based on Shakespeare's history play, Henry V.
The design has been taken from my original papercut and the composition includes some of the play's key imagery and characters ..the figures are King Henry and King Charles VI of France, with his daughter Princess Katherine in the background. Dotted around the composition are tennis balls, a leek, and a rabbit/duck visual which is a reference to Norman Rabkin's article which examines the 2 sides of Henry ... that of a Christian king and a Machiavellian politician.
This print will be part of an ongoing series - and, given time, I hope to design a print for every one of Shakespeare's plays.
There are 2 colour variations - Full Colour and Black & White. At checkout you'll be able to select your preference from the drop-down menu.
