Isaac Newton at King Edward's Gate, Trinity College

Signed limited edition (95) Giclée print on 230 gsm heavyweight paper.

This image is out of step from the others in the series. It jumps back in time to the 17th Century and we see Isaac Newton – a great Trinity man - standing in front of the clock tower at King Edward’s gate. Newton lived well before the advent of mobile technology, so there’s little chance of catching him checking his Facebook feed or struggling to connect to a Wi-Fi hotspot. But, interestingly (and this is true of most of the Trinity statues in the Ante-chapel of the college), he’s holding an object. Is this similar to why we constantly clutch our mobile phones – using them as our portable comfort blanket?

LIMITED EDITION PRINTS: 95 prints per size (A2, A3 & A4) and each and comes personally signed, titled and numbered by the artist.

Printed on archival heavyweight 230gsm acid-free matt-coated paper using Epson’s UltraChrome HD inks, guaranteed for their longevity.

This image for the Giclee print was taken from a 600dpi scan of the original papercut, after which a vibrant Pop Art colour scheme was added to create a stylish series of contemporary prints.

PRINTS are UNFRAMED and are available in three sizes:
